This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to join this exciting FMCG business.

The successful candidate will have experience selling FMCG into distributors and retailers of varying sizes.

This role will involve international travel 10-12 times a year, developing sales across the continent of Africa.

THE ROLE

•Plan and develop strategies for new business development for markets and specific potential customers

•Full understanding and accountability of customer and territory Profit and Loss

•Annually prepare budgets for sales and profitability of new business development

•Monitor monthly and quarterly performance of new business development against budget and address divergence

•Developing effective sales presentations for potential customers and other relevant bodies

•Representing the company at trade exhibitions in the UK or overseas

•Act as point of contact with customers for every aspect of their commercial relationship with the business.

•Build and maintain strong personal relationships with key personnel in customer's organisations

•Ensure customers receive all relevant marketing material, samples and other information required to maximise commercial opportunities

•Visit customers in their markets, and make necessary travel arrangements

•Develop awareness of legislative, operational, logistical or administrative issues regarding exports to customer's markets

THE CANDIDATE

- Must have experience in the FMCG or Retail sectors.

- Must have experience in new business development

- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills

- This role will require travel to Africa 10-12 times a year
