Job Title: Machine Operative
Location: Romsey, Southampton
Pay: GBP16,250- GBP17,500 per annum dependent on experience.
Hours: Monday - Friday (Apply online only) with half hour for lunch)
Benefits: Pension + Bupa Health insurance is offered after probationary period
We are looking for a Machine operative for an established company in the Romsey area.
The right person will have Warehouse or machine operating experience but not essential as full training provided.
Main duties will include but not limited to:
Operating Machine and other equipment safely & effectively.
Ensure stock is rotated continuously in an accurate manner.
Loading & unloading vehicles with a forklift.
Making sure the warehouse is a safe environment to work in.
Being hard working with the ability to work to specification. You will need the willingness to learn and help keep stock levels accurate.
Skills for the job include:
Being calm to handle pressure at times.
The ability to be organised & proactive.
Have basic IT skills.
A keen eye for detail.
This role for the right person will be extremely fulfilling as our client is looking to develop and grow the right candidate in there career with them.
A certificate in basic health & safety in operating machines would be advantageous but not essential.
