We are currently recruiting for several Permanent CNC Programmer/Setter/Operators to work with a prestigious manufacturing client in the Bromsgrove area.

Working hours are: 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 1pm Friday

Salary: GBP25 to GBP30k per annum depending on ability.

Holidays: 20 days plus statutory Bank Holidays.

Our client is a small manufacturing company specializing in 3 and 5 axis CNC milling, CNC turning, marking tools, jigs and fixtures and currently have a vacancy for a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator. The work is from many different sectors, from one off's to batch-production and on occasion working to tight tolerances.

Job Description:

The CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator will be programming, setting and operating various 3 and 5 axis machine tools using Heidenhain controllers.

Primary Responsibilities:

To help progress the Company's aim to provide high quality results within timescales and budgets as demanded by our current and future customers.

Personal Specification:

The successful applicant needs to have good skills in Heidenhain programming, be able to work unsupervised, read technical drawings, ideally have knowledge of Delcam CAD/CAM software and experience in CNC Turning.

Essential Skills:

Experience of programming/operating/setting 3 and 5 axis milling machines using Heidenhain controller.

Experience of working using own initiative and solving problems

Desirable Skills:

Experience of Delcam Powershape, Powermill and Featurecam software

Experience of using co-ordinate measuring machine

Experience of programming, operating and setting CNC lathe using Fanuc controller

Experience in many areas of machining and in many different materials
