Building Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a Newcastle based Consultancy providing Surveying and Architectural design services. Our Client are regulated by the RICS and specialise in providing a full range of surveying services for the residential and commercial sectors across the North East.

Due to the nature of the work and our client's standing in the local market, it is essential that the successful individual is Chartered (MRICS/ FRICS) and has a proven background of working in a building surveying practice undertaking building surveys, property maintenance schedules, schedules of condition and dilapidations as well as Party Wall work.

Building Surveyor Position Overview

* Job Type: Permanent

* Start date: ASAP

* Qualification level: Chartered (RICS)

* Experience required: Professional Building Surveying (Residential & Commercial)

Building Surveyor Position Requirements

* MRICS status

* RICS Accredited Degree in Building Surveying

* Experienced within the Commercial and Residential Sector

* Experience of undertaking building surveys, homebuyer reports, defect inspections, schedules of condition

* Experience of dealing with dilapidation's and the Party Wall etc. Act 1996

* An understanding of Health and Safety and CDM Regulations

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

* Proficient using Microsoft Office software

* Full UK Driving License

Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

* Competitive salary up to GBP40K (DOE)
