Our well-established Wakefield based client are recruiting for an energetic Sales Account Executive. The role will involve the strategic selling of various technical services to new and existing clients, predominantly within the UK's building, construction and property industries.
We would like to speak with enthusiastic candidates who demonstrate experience within Sales and Account Management and who are keen to grow and develop their career within a progressive business.
On offer is a competitive basic salary, generous uncapped commission scheme, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and free onsite parking.
??Generate new business though an internet prospect database split on a regional basis, additionally selling to existing clients using in house databases
??Call existing clients to follow up on quotations to the point of sale
??Exceptional organisation and housekeeping of sales pipeline & company CRM
??Promote the full range of company services
??Account Management of a portfolio of existing and development accounts as well as a pre-determined geographical area, maximising sales opportunities and developing relationships
??Work closely with the Estimating (quote-generating) team, accurately recording the outcome of calls on internal databases, managing all leads to a final satisfactory outcome
??Generate meeting appointments for the external development team both sites based and office based to secure projects.
??Effectively liaise with sites to obtain visibility of dates required following receipt of their order.
??Effectively liaise with the operational team to manage client's expectations for delivery
??Ideally, a minimum of 2 years' experience within a Sales / Account Management role
??Minimum 12 months experience with proven results working in any of the below sales roles: Business Development, Outbound B2B Consultative Telesales, Technical sales, Account Management or Sales Coordination roles.
??Exceptional telephone manner; with confidence and drive to use it
??Strong Customer Service background
??Results driven, sales and commission hungry, desire to win.
??Clear, confident communication skills, both verbal and written
??Experience of building relationships with clients.
??Sound knowledge of the practical application of a sales office.
??To be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
??Ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and pro-active
??Autonomous but also team player
??Thick skinned and not affected by 'knock-backs'.
??Track record or understands how to reach and identify prospective customers.
??Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations.,
??Willing to undertake face to face meetings in the longer term.
