House keeper/cleaner
I'm looking for a house keeper, cleaner for my client a charitable organisation based in Bradford. The housekeeper promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odours. You may be required to perform tasks, which involve exposure to visible blood contamination.
Duties include but not limited to:
??Working within infection control guidelines at all times, keep all areas in a tidy, sanitary, infection-free condition through washing, sanitizing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, mopping and sweeping as appropriate.
??Ensuring that all cleaning equipment/materials are used and maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition.
??Store and handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as COSSH, EPA
??You will be required to work in damp, dusty and dirty areas.
??Clean away human waste fluids as required
??Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials.
??Plan work schedule for major tasks and follow a weekly routine to ensure all areas and cleaning tasks are covered.
??Manage and maintain cleaning and housekeeping stocks, putting in orders when required.
??Maintain a friendly contact with users of the service respecting their right to choices, dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
??Undertake such other duties as may be determined from time to time within the general scope of the post.
This post is due to start 17th June initially for 30 hours per week reducing to 25 hours a week in August. GBP8.21 per hour 8.00am Monday - Friday. A DBS check is required for this post.
