This role is to strengthen the central simplification team based at Wellingborough the purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and cost effective delivery of supply chain, transport and distribution projects. To evaluate and articulate the change, to produce and manage a scope of work to the project team and wider business.

Main responsibilitiesThe development of processes to support Transport and Warehouse compliance through the existing management systems. Building of third party relationships to ensure effective service is received by being the point of contact in monitoring/agreeing Service Level agreements.
Present and communicate the progress, risks expectations and time lines to key stake holders and deliver the end project on time and on budget.
Ideal candidateTo be successful in this role you will have experience of project management within a logistics operation, a full understanding of transport legal compliance specifically around O'licence and vehicle maintenance. The ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation and to be able to build effective relationships.
This role requires intermediate/advanced knowledge and working application of Microsoft, excel, Word & PowerPoint.
