Assistant Legal Cashier

Local Solicitors based in Moseley are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier Responsible for:

  • Arranging bank reconciliations Allocating funds received to Client’s ledgers
  • Processing electronic payments by Chaps/Bacs/FPC
  • Processing transfers between Client and Office accounts
  • Sorting Incoming cheques and preparing daily banking Issuing
  • Cheques Checking and posting Bills,
  • Credit Notes and Write offs Recording all other accounts transactions including checking requests
  • Liaising with fee earners and resolving accounting queries raised
  • Providing ad hoc assistance and support

Candidate to have 2 years experience gained within a Law firm.

Must be able to cope with high volume workload and work well under pressure and accurate.

Must be a car owner to go between other branch offices when required.

Hours of Work 9am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch 23 days holiday

Salary Negotiable depending on experience.
