Happy to talk about working flexibly

Do you want to join a forward thinking social housing company?  At Curo we are about people and we want to give every one of our customers the very best service we can.

Happy colleagues make happy customers.  Curo have been ranked in the top 50 of The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for in the whole of the UK. We are one of the largest landlords in the South West, with a diverse portfolio of affordable and market rented homes.

Our Compliance and Support service is looking for a positive and customer focused person to join their dedicated team.

What you'll be doing

You’ll work as part of a job share leading a team to deliver services which deal with all tenancy breaches, including support services and enforcement.

Sustainment of tenancy is key for our customers, you’ll work with the team to support customers in successful tenancies by ensuring issues are recognized quickly and appropriate interventions are implemented.

Sometimes tenancies are not successful and when this happens you’ll use the full range of tools and legal powers available to you to deal with tenancy breaches.  You’ll manage the risks and make decisions on priorities, working closely with other agencies.

More about you

You’ll be passionate about delivering victim centered services, supporting sustainment of tenancies and able to recognise when customers require support.

You’ll be an experienced leader with a track record of delivering great results for customers.  You’ll have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a diplomatic approach and the ability to relate to a diverse range of people.

You will be highly organized, allowing you to work accurately under pressure and have the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to targets and tight deadlines.

If you have knowledge of relevant legislation and a proven track record in anti-social behaviour case management that would be an advantage, however what we are looking for is an experienced line manager with the drive and enthusiasm to lead a team.

At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!

When and where you'll be doing it

You will be able to work flexibly, 18.5 hours per week in a job share, based on our customers’ needs.  You will be responsible for organizing your own workload and setting your diary appointments.

You’ll be based in our Head Office at The Maltings, Lower Bristol Road, Bath

What will you get in return?

We think you’ll have a job that makes you feel good about what you’re doing – you will make a difference to our customers’ lives every day.

You’ll get:

  • A day’s leave on your birthday
  • 26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 after 3 years’ service
  • Opportunity to earn performance related pay
  • Company Pension contribution of up to 10%
  • Flexible Benefits including health care, gym membership, buying holiday

Here at Curo we are about getting the right candidate for the right role, however we recognise that as an organisation we are underrepresented in certain areas. Therefore we operate the disability confident scheme to encourage disabled applicants and we welcome applications from candidates who are BAME or LGBTQ+.  We also welcome applications from Curo customers.
