Here at Watkin Jones, we are now looking for a Technical Manager to manage all technical aspects of projects.
The Technical Manager will co-ordinate the design of housing developments and resolve any site queries on technical issues. Ensuring that accurate design information is sent to site, you will co-ordinate and manage the site team’s technical requirements and ensure drainage and estate roads are adopted. Monitoring and reviewing engineering design, you will attend, chair and minute site meetings and attend client meetings, managing their expectations.
As Technical Manager, you will take ownership of team and individual’s development by identifying capability needs and consistently achieving development objectives. You will take responsibility for the quality of work and continuously seeking opportunities to improve.
About You
We’re looking for an individual who has qualifications to a level of NVQ 3, ‘A’ Level, HNC or equivalent or who has the equivalent level of experience. With excellent time management and communication skills, you will have good knowledge of AutoCAD and be IT literate including Excel, Word and Asta Project. You will also be highly focused and self-disciplined, able to accurately measure progress and evaluate results.
