Specifications Technologist
Responsible to: Technical Manager
Main Duties:
This is not a comprehensive list of all tasks which may be required of the post holder but is illustrative of the general level of responsibility of the work to be undertaken.
* Completing and maintaining finish product specifications: own brand, in customer format and own label product specifications for major retail customers using their web based systems.
* Complete required customers documentations: sample submission forms, SSAQ, QAS.
* Support Procurement and NPD department: advise on legal, nutrition and labelling matters.
* Create pack copy information for creation of artwork, and managing the artwork sign off process to ensure that all packs are complaint with customer's requirements
* Ensure safety and legality of products is maintained.
* Create and maintain:
- Production Recipe
- In-house Specifications
- Internal and case end finished product labels.
Personal Conduct: -
* As a representative of the company, conduct themselves in a responsible manner that reflects the professionalism of the company at all times.
* Must not divulge to any 3rd party any confidential or sensitive information
* Must adhere to company's time-keeping & absenteeism policy
* When required must carry out other duties, linked with the trade as reasonably requested in relation to the needs of the business.
