Technical Support Engineer (Daresbury)
Provision of Technical support to customers and Field Service Engineers
The Package
GBP25,000 to GBP32,000 basic salary
Excellent benefits package
Tasks:
+ Provide telephone technical support to customers and staff on the full range of current and classic electrical equipment / products used in an industrial environment e.g. motors, generators, drives and robotics
+ Answer on-line enquiries via the internet or e-mails
+ Occasional onsite support to provide technical assistance and maintenance
+ Liaise with factory support lines and product managers as required to give the customer the best service possible
+ Build relationships with the contract customer base
+ Identify opportunities for new business
+ Attend product training events in the UK and possibly overseas
+ Take ownership of enquiries to "see the job through"
+ Attend health and safety seminars and training
Requirements:
Essential
+ Previous Customer interactions
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to work under pressure
+ Methodical approach to problem solving
Desirable
+ Basic or further engineering qualification preferably electrical or electronic, eg (ONC, HNC, HND or degree)
+ Knowledge of Office 365, SAP, Salesforce
