Recovery Driver

Park Royal, Camberwell, Woolwich (travelling around the London network)

About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Recovery Driver to provide a reliable, efficient and courteous vehicle recovery and delivery service to our customer; the Metropolitan Police Service.

You will operate a flatbed recovery vehicle, collecting and delivering a range of vehicles to police stations.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to have a full UK clean driving license and must have recovery vehicle experience. Ideally with experience of driving 3.5 tonne vehicles.

We would also like you to have experience in the following:

  • Ideally have a C+E license (must have a C licence)Ideally be trained to CPC standard
  • Ideally have knowledge of tachograph regulations
  • Must have good customer service/interface skills
  • Work autonomously and have excellent time-management skills
  • Maintain their own CPD.

What else do I need to know?

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
