Amazing opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to work within a Luxury beauty Head Office based in the Heart of The West End**

JOB ROLE: Merchandiser

JOB TYPE: Temporary - 3months

COMPANY: Luxury beauty Head Office

HOURS: 9.00 am- 17.30pm

SALARY: GBP18.46 PH

LOCATION: West End, London

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

* Review Weekly Stock Sales and Intake forecasts (WSSI)

* Manage intake flow into business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimise risks and communicate to DC for short term work flow priorities and longer-term planning

* Assessment of over/under performance and impact on stock levels

* Recommending repeat/re-orders on current lines

* Work with Buying to plan newness - store profiling, placing the buy, allocation plan to launch

* Work with the Merchandise Team to control inventory levels, allocations and replenishment to stores as required

* Seasonal Markdown selection, proposal and implementation

* Communicate with the retail stores to arrange stock re-balancing request within the agreed time scale

* NAV performance and development

* Provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, and markdown versus budget and last year

* Key contact for all analysis relating to departments of responsibility and the wider business

* Provide analysis and summary of Markdown and Promotional activity for departments of responsibility and wider business

* Responsible for ensuring that mark downs are on the system in line with the mark down calendar

* Interact with other teams to improve seasonal performance and drive best practices

* Conduct detailed ad-hoc analysis when required on specific products/product groups

* Key contact for merchandise reporting and all aspects of merchandising processes and system use

* Work with Retail, Buying and Marketing Departments to deliver promotional calendar

* Develop and build strong relationships and networks with key opinion leaders/decision makers within the company and externally with relevant suppliers

* Train and develop junior Merchandising Team members.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

* Experience of brands; luxury brands is desirable

* Forward planning

* Impressive track record in retail, corporate or a wholesale business

* Demonstrable success in a Merchandising position

* Advanced Excel skills

* Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels in the company, both written and verbal

* Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated

* Enjoys detail, accuracy and is analytical

* Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve

* Ability to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills

* Resourceful and highly commercial.
