The Role:

As an Advisory Consultant, you will be tasked with providing analytical insights and reports to client within the energy industry across the UK & Europe. This will involve strategy planning, market simulation and forecasting to allow clients to fully optimise assets across multiple sources including wind and solar.

You will act as a technical and market expert across energy market consulting assignments, whilst utilising market analysis, validating model inputs and results whilst consistently providing accurate and bespoke analysis on market conditions to clients.

This will include the following tasks:

• Provide energy market expertise by researching and remaining informed on electricity and fuel markets, economic and technology trends, industry practices, regional developments and subject matter developments.

• Perform advisory / consulting work and develop and deliver reports and presentations to clients.

• Demonstrate market analysis and optimization solutions to clients to support sales.

• Provide industry and market expertise to sell services and products.

• Contribute to sales and marketing activities including development of webcasts, material, thought leadership, client and conference presentations, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be educated to at least degree level in an analytical subject and will have experience in business analysis / consulting / project management / pre-sales in customer-focused roles.

• At least 3-5 years consulting experience

• Experienced in energy market analysis, quantitative analysis and mathematical modelling

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Operational Research or related quantitative subject

• In-depth knowledge of energy market and market conditions.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

• Advanced or Postgraduate degree from a reputed university

• European language skills (e.g. French, German, Spanish)
