Albany Pumps are an employee-owned company that produce a wide range of standard, customised and specialised positive displacement pumps in the UK.
Originally formed in London in the 1900's, Albany Pumps are now looking for Pump Fitters to join them at their manufacturing site in Bradford. As a Fitter, you will manufacture, fit, repair and service a range of pumps.
The role will provide an excellent career opportunity for you to develop your skills and experience within a long established company. The ideal applicant should have an engineering background, ideally having served a recognised engineering apprenticeship and possess knowledge of a wide range of manufacturing techniques including Turning, Milling, Pipe & Sheet Fabrication and welding. You must also have some previous experience in reading drawings, measurements and working to tight tolerances.
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a generous salary dependent on your experience.
