Assembly Technician required for a market leading Electronics Company based in Cardiff, South Wales. Our client designs and manufactures advanced electronic controls, they are the UK market leader which sells products around the world.
Monday - Friday, 09.00 - 17.00
GBP9.00 p/h
Tasks:
* Precision soldering and production of electronic parts and sub-assemblies.
* Mechanical assembly of steering devices and keypads.
* Testing of sub-assemblies and parts using electronic test equipment such as scopes and DVMs.
* Final assembly of systems.
* Perform calibration, final test and documentation and packing of products.
* Repair of electronic systems to component level.
* Use drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or re-assemble units.
* Carry out tasks that are repetitive in nature with the ability to recognise non-conformity.
Requirements:
* Surface mount soldering experience with knowledge of analogue and digital circuits.
* Good manual dexterity and an eye for fine detail.
* Own transport essential (due to location).
