Your new role

As a field-based Maintenance Service Technician you will act as the face of our business and deliver practical, pro-active and reactive hands-on maintenance services to our customers.

This is a pivotal role in our maintenance division where you will play a key part and in our ongoing growth and success.

What you'll be leading on

* The delivery of pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks, while adhering to health and safety standards and best working practices.

* Undertake various tasks including general maintenance, instillation, decoration and basic plumbing

* Action filter cleaning, Building Fabric, lighting testing, lamp changing and water hygiene checks

* Utilise initiative and planning tools to deliver efficiencies with a customer focus, ensuring effective communication with site teams on tasks is being undertaken.

* To attend training courses as and when necessary to develop your technical knowledge and skills in line with business requirements, and to actively support colleagues with development.

* Assist the delivery of excellent customer service resulting in asset uptime, first time fix and quality workmanship.

To be successful in this role you will have

* Experience of working within a Maintenance remit for a multi-site facility, preferably within retail

* Experience of working within a customer facing, time pressured environment

* Strong communication skills both in written and verbal terms

* A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
