37.5 hours a week, 5 shift on 2 off

GBP19,000 PA + company benefits

Kitchen closes 8.30pm

This is a kitchen brigade who consistently deliver excellent food, using fresh local produce.

Main Duties

Operations - 70% of the role

* Remain health & safety compliant

* Maintain full control of wastage

* Ensure high levels of cleanliness throughout the kitchen

* Deliver consistent top quality food during service

* Demonstrate the ability to follow food specifications as set out by the Head Chef

* Process food deliveries to the kitchen

* Illustrate an ability to work throughout all areas of the kitchen

* Assist the Head Chef in facilitating stock rotation

* Demonstrate a clear understanding of Profit & Loss and GP control

Communication - 10% of the role

* Assist in the mentoring & development of junior colleagues

* Communicate regularly with the Front of House Team

* Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure stock control

* Work closely with the Head Chef to implement new menu items


Administration - 10% of the role

* Stock ordering in the Head Chef's absence

* Ensure all daily checklists and HACCP are completed (i.e. date labelling, temperature checks, probe calibration)

* Incorporate new legislation into all menu designs

Customer Service - 10% of the role

* Demonstrate an awareness of customer needs and requirements i.e. allergens, medication etc.

* Provide high levels of customer service with all internal & external customers

* Assist colleagues with events as and when required

* Perform any other duties as required by the line manager

* Adhere to all Audley policies & procedures and ensure health & safety requirements are met at all times
