An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to work within the team on both global and UK accounts within the pharmaceutical industry.
The primary function of the role will be to oversee account programmes and be the daily contact with clients, providing them with both operational counsel (with support from Senior Management Team) and timely tactical execution. He or she will be leading major activities for accounts and working with senior team members to deliver strong results and ensuring work is of the highest quality.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing accounts and being responsible for the overall quality and delivery of insights, strategies and solutions
* Developing and editing written documents that are on message and tailored to audience; documents will include slide presentations, proposals, plans, and budgets
* Daily client counsel, including problem solving
* Managing projects to ensure client goals are met
* Keeping abreast of new developments, trends and opportunities for both clients and the wider industry
The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment and be a highly motivated self starter and good team player. You will need to:-
* Have an expert knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, with specific expertise in communications and event management
* Be able to demonstrate problem solving at both brand and operational level
* Demonstrate a good understanding of budgeting client programmes, including initial budget development, on-going management and review, resourcing and forecasting
* Demonstrate strong client management skills
* Demonstrate strong writing skills and attention to detail
* Possess the ability to multitask
* Have a sense of humour and a desire to learn and be successful
Whilst it is not essential agency experience as well as client side experience would be very useful.
