Education Impact Academy Trust is a newly created MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School and sponsoring 2 additional high needs schools through the academisation process.  Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high quality education for 232 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Wilson Stuart School have achieved an Outstanding grade in their last 6 Ofsted inspections and in their last 3 inspections, the latest of which was March 2019, they were graded as outstanding in every single aspect of the inspection.

Business Manager

(Temporary post in the first instance)

Grade 5 £34,106 - £38,052 per annum full time all year round in the first instance

We are seeking to appoint a temporary Business Manager to support our MAT starting as soon as possible until 31st December 2019 in the first instance.   

The purpose of this role is to support with the acquisition and incorporation of new establishments into the MAT and to support the COO with the Multi Academy Trust’s (MAT) day-to-day operations and implement strategies set by the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

The successful candidate will have experience of managing and implementing strategic plans, financial management, HR and recruiting procedures, tendering and facilities management.  You will also be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills, be an effective communicator, show resilience and have the ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.

Wilson Stuart School has been awarded Independent Specialist Provision status for its educational programmes for young adults aged 19-25 years.  The Wilson Stuart UCB Partnership Trust (WSUCBPT) study programmes are designed to enable students to access work placements, volunteering roles and participate in their community.
