We are looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic and motivated Catering Manager/Chef Manager to manage this busy site based in South East London. Overseeing a high volume and busy catering department, you as the Catering/Chef Manager will be responsible for the management of the team and production of food. The site has approx (Apply online only) on site and caters for a lunch service as well as operating a weekend service. In addition, you will be responsible for the on site bar ensuring it is staffed accordingly. You will be responsible for creating and planning innovative and exciting menus as well as fully accountable for all financials including budget and P&L.
To be considered as a candidate, you will
- be at Catering Manager or Chef Manager level with a stable and proven career background
- have a craft background and able to work hands on
- be able to manage, train and develop a team
- be able to create and implement creative and innovative menus
- be able to manage a budget and costs
- be able to liaise with the client ensuring a good working relationship
- have a friendly, outgoing and personable manner
- be flexible, positive with a can do attitude
- ideally hold an alcohol licence
