A client of ours based in Birmingham city centre are looking for a Team Secretary to join their company on a permanent basis. This particular role will be supporting the Quantity Surveying team.

This role would suit a candidate that is pro-active and motivated and looking for a role with variety.

Duties will include:

* Diary management

* Organising meetings

* Booking and organising travel and accommodation

* Typing of correspondence such as report, minutes and presentations

* Answering and transferring calls

* Managing the meeting room system

* Booking guests in and out

* Sorting post

* Meeting and greeting clients and guests

* Production of documentation for the team

* Copy typing and data inputting

* Helping to induct new starters

* Liaising with IT department

* Updating staff details on system

* Formatting CVs and updating to company systems

* General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, binding etc

Person Specification

* Minimum A Level qualifications held

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Ability to prioritise and manage workload

* Team player

* Competent with Microsoft Office packages

* 'Can do' attitude

* Strong attention to detail

* Good at building rapport and long-term relationships with both clients as well as both internal and external staff

* Used to working to deadlines

* Personable and professional

Salary will be up to GBP27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
