As part of their commitment to people development and learning, our client is looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of energy efficiency improvements to properties as part of their Affordable Warmth Strategy.
  
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the overall project management including duties specified under CDM as the Client and Principal designer. You will prepare and maintain a project programme identifying the roles and responsibilities of the project team, the contractor and consultants; and monitor the performance.

You will undertake regular site inspections and advise on specialist services, including consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers required in connection with the Project.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of successfully managing construction/refurbishment projects
  • Evidence of developing strategies and policies.
  • Producing and presenting written reports.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Procuring services and supplies and demonstrating value for money.
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to promote the Association
  • Health and Safety legislation, British Standards, Building Regulations, planning requirements and other regulations affecting the construction industry.
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
  • A full driving licence
