This company specialises in shading for difficult areas of glazing, this brings them many exciting and challenging projects in prestigious public buildings and high-end residential properties. They are one of the few companies to specialise in such an area, and this allows them a commanding position in the market. They have received excellent feedback from clients, most of whom have struggled to find a company able to help them with a solution. As a small company, they are a close team and any new staff would be key members of the business.
The position would suit a precise and highly organised candidate with an eye for detail who is happy taking full responsibility for the projects and leading the way on pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The role will encompass many aspects of the operational and technical side of the business, and there will be many opportunities to be involved in key decision making. They are ideally looking for a candidate with experience in the shading industry, but would consider anyone with transferable skills and experience of surveying and installing.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience of surveying and installing blinds
- High levels of precision and attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills
- Well-developed spatial awareness and good hand drawing ability
- Knowledge and experience with hand and power tools
- Experience working on building sites
- Experience working both in a small team, and working remotely and independently
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Good timekeeping ability
- Willingness to travel nationwide regularly
- Full clean driving licence & clean claims record
Salary & Benefits:
- GBP30-36k p.a.
- Competitive pension contribution after initial probation period

Operating from their South Oxfordshire base, but involving travel across the country (mostly London and the South East). This job allows flexibility, whilst offering a key role in a small but rapidly growing family company!
