Exciting Senior Operations Manager opportunity with leading large-scale and global event's organiser!
The company are a market-leading B2B event's organiser who pride themselves on their global and industry leading brands. Based in the City, the company are currently looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to take full responsibility of event logistics for an international series of events. These events will involve 4 global brands within the mining and metals industry.
The Role
- Full operational and logistical management of an event carried out as smoothly as possible and that stays within budget.
- Confident and smooth communication to both team members and external stakeholders will ensure that sponsorship contracts are delivered, and support is provided to both speakers and delegates.
- Mentoring and development of new team members to ensure that best practices are applied efficiently.
The Person
- A wide range of operational and event management experience will enable you carry out each task effectively, leading and motivating a team.
- Experience working across large scale events will ensure that operations and event delivery will be met under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A proactive attitude and confident approach will help to negotiate and develop good business relationships for future contracts, suppliers and clients.
