We have a brilliant new role for a Marketing Manager with independent Scientific journals publisher in London. The role is new to the business because of expansion in the marketing function and will be responsible for managing all existing subscriptions of their scientific journals. These are a mix of open access and traditional journals.

This is a terrific and rare opportunity to join this independent, innovative publisher who is not part of a larger group and has no plans to be! They are great at what they do and enjoy being independent. The culture and mission there is clear and each member of the team who works there, allows the company to continue to build on it's mission and you will be part of this.

The journals are driven by high quality and many are high impact factor journals. They control many aspects of the production, as an example, all the journals are created in house and alongside this they are publishing thousands of articles each year. These are then sold via subscriptions to Academic Institutions and libraries globally.

The role of the Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and reporting in order to increase subscriptions and access to Open Access journals. This role will also manage both print and digital campaigns, writing the copy and scheduling these online, including working with the website, digital newsletters and email campaigns. Other responsibilities include data management, organising PR activities, and co-ordinating the annual catalogue.

If you're keen to work in a new and exciting environment and have strong marketing experience, ideally in STM publishing, are strategic and have worked with CRM or email campaign systems then please do click on the link to apply!

For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
