Role: Assistant Ecologist
Salary: GBP18,000-GBP21,000
Location: Hampshire
An award-winning environmental consultancy based in Hampshire are currently on the lookout for an experienced Assistant Ecologist to join their expanding team of Ecologists. My client provides ecological consultancy to both the private and public sector, delivering quality solutions.
The team are looking to take on candidates who will embrace a hands on role and who are keen to progress and develop their ecological skills.
If successful in your application, your role will include the delivery of site surveys and mitigation reporting. Your duties will include protected species and phase 1 habitat surveys, desk studies and report writing, mitigation design and client/sub-contractor liaison.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
* A BSc in Ecology or a related discipline
* At least one protected species survey licence
* Demonstrable ecological consultancy experience
* CIEEM Membership
* Demonstrable protected species survey experience
* A Full, UK driving licence
