Trainee Trials Officer

Hunter Global are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client for a Trainee Trials Officer to be based in the Norfolk Area.
Role and Responsibilities
• Locating sites & discussing with customers / farmers
• Planning, preparing and organizing trials - in field & lab base
• Writing protocols for field trials
• Monitoring field conditions in close detail
• Applying treatments to trials
• Designing & developing experiments
• Undertaking detailed statistical planning
• Collate and accurately record data
• Write, analyse & present reports in a clear and concise manner
• Liaise with technical development
• Undertake demonstrations & presentations for commercial clients
• Strict confidentiality required at all times
• Carrying out soil sampling outside of trial season
• Foliage sampling
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Educated to degree standard in Agriculture or similar
• FACTS & BASIS qualified, desirable but not essential
• Must hold a valid, clean, driving license as there will be some travel
Preferred Skills
• Excellent communication skills at all levels & conversant in MS office applications
• Excellent organisational skills
• Motivated & flexible individual, who enjoys working within in a team & comfortable working alone
