Independent Living Assistant (full or part time)

Hourly rates:  £9.08 basic per hour, Saturday = £12.10 (time and one third), Sunday = £15.13 (time and two thirds), Bank Holidays = £15.13 (time and two thirds), Christmas Day and Boxing Day = £18.16 (double basic time). Care Nights are paid at £82.18 per night.

A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, attracts an additional 25p to the basic hourly rate.

Bank Independent Living Assistant to cover our permanent staff on an ad hoc basis

The shifts are varied, as we provide a 24 hours per day, seven days per week service.

Based in Bath St John’s Foundation provides support, in many different ways, to the people of Bath and the surrounding area. Our Independent Living Service provides care, housing and other support which enables residents living in our almshouse accommodation to maintain independence.

We are currently recruiting for friendly and caring individuals to join the team. The post holder will:

• Be part of a team providing an integrated care and support service which promotes independence

• Deliver excellent resident services in a friendly manner, treating all individuals with dignity and respect

• Work flexibly with individuals to meet their needs and preferences, comply with care and support plans and achieve positive outcomes for each person

• Assist with all aspects of personal care and support independence.
