Trainer Assessor. Construction (Plumbing and Gas).
Plumbing and Gas section of Construction. As part of a team you will deliver and conduct training and assessment in College to provide our students with a wide range of skills and knowledge relevant to their main programme of study.
You will deliver practical training and manage assessments in line with awarding organisation guidelines aswell as prepare accordingly in order to ensure the delivery of high quality practical learning and assessments to all our students. The students you will be responsible for will be drawn from full time school provision, apprenticeships and adult evening groups.
Other duties will include; undertaking planned and reactive maintenance including commissioning and de-commissioning of assessment areas as well as Health and Safety responsibilities commensurate with the post, and procurement of goods and services in-line with the area's requirements. The role requires someone who can work flexibly and effectively as part of a team to deliver high quality learning experiences.
Applicants should hold a relevant level 3 qualification as well as a Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent). Previous experience of working in a training environment or of working with young people is desirable but not essential as support is available for someone who can demonstrate commitment to developing others.
