Experienced Bookkeeper, Chelmsford
Hours: Full-time (part-time hours negotiable)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (based on qualification and experience)
Our client is a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants who are based in Chelmsford and have been operating for over 65 years.
They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join their team to assist with the development and promotion of the bookkeeping department.
The role will require a hands-on approach, providing monthly bookkeeping services to clients, the production of quarterly VAT returns and management accounts. The Practice is keen to use and promote Xero cloud-based software, so experience and knowledge in this respect will be valuable. Good communication skills are essential for regular client contact and team development.

There will be the opportunity to join the firm’s medical insurance scheme and group pension scheme after 2 full years’ service.
