Do you want to disrupt inequality in Higher Education? Do you also want to develop yourself while creating change?

Imagine coming to work every day in a place where you get to have fun, make friends, change lives and push yourself to build your skills and achieve amazing results. The last two people in this role re-wrote the Course Rep Programme, bringing it up to a top level benchmark for the benefit of our diverse group of students and staff.

Among the things they achieved were: re-writing the Course Rep Training and Development Programme, organising four free and fair campus elections and tracking over 200 pieces of student feedback to outcome in a single academic year - demonstrating the impact of our work.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about disrupting inequality by working directly with students to create tangible outcomes. We are looking for someone who has project management experience, experience working with volunteers and is passionate about representation.

Previous holders of the role have also gone on to be managers or specialists in our organisation and elsewhere. Not having years of experience in Students' Unions isn't a barrier. If you can prove you are willing to work hard, bring your whole self to work and put the time in to learn and develop your skills for the benefit of yourself and others, we want to hear from you and you will fit in really well with us.

Our SU is a charity that has won multiple national awards for, among other things, engaging thousands of people in community-building projects, having an extremely happy staff team and proving that you can create the best students' union in the country against the odds.

If everything above sounds good to you, we'd love to receive your application. Be sure to read the job description and person specification and make sure to use our application form - we don't accept CVs and cover letters!
