LINQ Recruitment have the pleasure in partnering with a very well-established Aerspace company who are going from strength to strength.
They are currently looking for several CNC Turners to join them on a permanent basis. This role reports directly into the workshop supervisor.
As the CNC Turner you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Lathes. There are a variety of machines, some 3,4 and 5 axis machines. Experience across those would be beneficial, although you do not have to have done all. They are also looking for programmers.
The operating systems that are currently used are as follows: Fanuc, Heidenhain, Bridgeport, Mazak.
Experience in any of those is essential. Having experience with editing and proving the programmes would always be beneficial and if you are a fully-fledged Programmer then all the better.
As the CNC Turner you will have an excellent eye for detail. You will have huge pride in your work and be able to perform initial self-inspection.
