They are now looking for a Global Business Development Manager to join their sales team in London.

The Role

As a Global Business Development Manager, you will maximise sales of our client’s voice solutions, including inbound, termination, SMS, SIP trunking, managed voice platforms, conversion services, UCaaS and IOT. 

Spending the majority of your day hitting the phones, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales, you will be: 

- Specifically targeting business from a list of qualified outbound leads and unqualified prospects
- Handling inbound sales leads, qualifying them and where appropriate creating client proposals and quotations
- Ensuring that new and existing customers receive a high-quality service  
- Developing an existing account base by researching and expanding contact in new areas to ensure sales opportunities for new sales and products
- Carrying out prospecting work to uncover prospects and generate new business
- Closing sales and achieving monthly profit quota
- Ensuring CRM and other systems are kept up to date, keeping contacts up to date and assessing opportunities via probability in the CRM
- Developing and maintaining a healthy business funnel
- Being aligned with the company strategic direction and sharing this with your prospective base
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Working with engineering to formulate customer designs and ensuring the best solution proposed which matches the customer expectation
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Representing our client at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Generate interest for products, qualify prospects and close sales 
- Create compelling proposals and quotations

About You

To be considered as a Global Business Development Manager, you’ll need: 

- At least two years’ sales experience in a telecommunications and/or technology environment 
- A track record of selling solutions and achieving or exceeding your sales targets 
- The ability to achieve positive results through excellent customer service, sales and closing skills 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
