PRUDENTIAL FINANCIAL PLANNING COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

Working with M&GPrudential as a Communications Consultant means becoming part of a brand with a global reputation and an exciting vision: to become the best loved and most successful savings & investments business.

The forthcoming planned de-merger of M&GPrudential from the Prudential Group PLC provides a terrific opportunity to create a truly international and integrated savings and investments firm. A firm built on a rich and long history and with a commitment to an innovative future centred on the needs of customers and clients. There is a genuine opportunity to drive competitive advantage with value creation through the formation of this new organisation.

If you're inspired to join us, and have the necessary qualities, then this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

The Role:

  • An opportunity has arisen to join the Communications and Events team within Prudential Financial Planning. This role would be ideal for someone who understands the world of financial advice, and has experience in the delivery and development of effective and engaging communications for key internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering 'business as usual' as well as ad hoc communications - you'll make sure they're tailored to the audience, technically accurate and fully approved before they're issued. This will include copywriting, editing and proofreading, as well as building some communications in IBM Silverpop.
  • Working on updates to, and the development of, the content and structure of the PFP Intranet site.
  • Joining project groups and meetings to support the business' communications needs.
  • Checking the effectiveness of our communications through MI.

  • Managing distribution lists and the PFP Communications mailbox.

  • Reviewing our current communications strategy and vehicles, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

You will have a proven track record in:

  • Writing and editing.

  • Relationship management across business areas and all levels (including senior management).

  • Organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task.

  • Effective time management to accommodate quick turnarounds.

  • Some experience of managing small to medium-sized projects.

You'll demonstrate these qualities to be successful in this role:

  • A flair for creating engaging content and messaging
  • A natural ability to network and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • A willingness to take responsibility and step forward, using your judgement and making things happen.
  • An appetite for challenge, working with intellectual rigour at pace to achieve the highest standards of execution under all conditions.
  • A love of innovating and creating solutions that make a positive difference.
  • A team player who can help everyone pull together to achieve shared goals.

People who work at M&GPrudential agree that ours is a great place to work with a brilliant team spirit. It's also an innovative, high-performing, commercial environment that's totally focused on customers. As an M&GPrudential colleague you'll get all the support you'd expect, including full training and professional development. You'll receive a competitive salary and reward package. And in a fast-changing world, you'll join an organisation that's leading the way in helping customers achieve their long-term financial goals.

M&GPrudential is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our role as an employer is very simple - to provide the right environment for talented people to do their best work, by respecting, understanding and valuing individual differences.

We welcome applications from individuals who have taken an extended career break, and we are willing to consider flexible working arrangements for all of our roles.
