Clerk to Governors
HOURS: 120 hours per annum
SALARY : NJC Grade C
Start date As soon as possible
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Clerk to Governors to join our busy team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing advice to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters and should be familiar with the DfE Governance Handbook.
- Providing effective administrative support to the governing body and its committees.
- Ensuring the governing body is properly constituted.
- Managing information effectively in accordance with legal requirements.
The hours for this post are generally worked outside of the normal working day. Most meetings are held from 5pm.
