An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structural CAD Technician to join a leading and multi disciplined consultancy in Bedford.
This is an exciting time to join the company as they are continually expanding their divisions and teams.
As part of the role you will be required to: (not limited to)
The job
* Working closely with the Structures Team director and engineers.
* Preparing drawings
* Managing incoming and outgoing drawings and documents
* Some design work, particularly in relation to foundations for housing.
* Work will mainly be on building structures, with some work on civil engineering structures such as retaining walls and landscape structures.
Essential:
• Proficient with AutoCAD software
• Minimum 2 years experience in building structures drafting
• Good communication skills
The salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience, skill set and qualifications.
