JW299 - Machine Shop Paint Operator / Automated Paint Shop Operator
Location Doncaster
Salary ranges Negotiable for the right candidate plus bonus, shift allowance & excellent benefits
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FOLOWING ROTATING 3 SHIFT PATTERNS
Early shift: 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 12pm Friday
Mid shift: 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1.30pm Friday
Lates: 2.00pm to 12.00 Midnight Monday to Thursday
Candidates MUST live in a commutable distance with their own transport to be able to work this shift pattern
Candidate Skills & Duties
* Experience of automated production processing machines, ideally automated paint spraying technologies would be advantageous (e.g. Chefla IBotic automated spray line as well as other automated technologies).
* Ability to plan and organise high volume & high variety of work
* Able to work closely within a team
* Structured and disciplined individual who is able to work within a very defined process
* Very high standards and adherence to health and safety
* Quick learner who can learn and understand new machine technologies as well as material and paint processes.
* Flexible in your approach to work, overtime and activities
* Experience of operating in a high volume, high quality manufacturing environment
* Able to undertake physically demanding tasks, e.g. manual handling, standing for long periods
* Basic numeracy, literacy and communication skills
* Responsible for setting and operating machines or processes to produce product with consistent results that is within specification and to acceptable levels of quality
* Observe machines or process performance and output quality and make necessary adjustments as required
* Troubleshoot complex problems and fix them promptly
* Identify and highlight to supervisor, process faults, errors and non-conformities
* Operation and efficient running of a production line ensuring product flow is constant and in accordance with the line schedule
* Undertake a variety of handling and material movement organisation activities.
