Autism Practitioner – Entry Level Opportunity 
Field Based (covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas)

Who will I be working for? 

We are Primecare Health, an independent provider of high-quality care services within Edinburgh and West Lothian. We offer flexible and professional home care services that empower people to maintain their independence within their own home and local community. 

We’re now looking for a number of Autism Practitioners to join us on a full time basis, working 37 hours per week across various shift patterns, including nights.

What will I be doing? 

As an Autism Practitioner, you’ll deliver a high-quality care service to clients with autism throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. 

Specifically, you’ll provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, including washing and bathing, preparing meals and light household tasks. 

You’ll help clients to achieve their day-to-day goals and remain as independent as possible. 

Sounds great! What do I need? 

- To be willing and able to undertake training 
- An empathetic approach 
- Great communication skills 

It would be great if you had experience in autism services or similar, but this is by no means essential. 

Other companies may call this role Autism Support Worker, Support Worker, Junior Care Worker, Trainee Carer, Care Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, Junior Social Care Worker or Trainee Social Worker.
