Job Title: Clinical Care Trainer/Assessor
*Trainee or Qualified Assessor*

Location: Candidates must be flexible with travel throughout Lincolnshire & surrounding areas

Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP28,000 (Dependent on qualifications & experience)

(Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Assessors award)

Essential Criteria:
  • Must hold a minimum of 2 years solid occupational competency / hands on experience within Clinical Healthcare (Hospital / Clinical / Private Medical environments)
  • Hold a relevant Care qualification any of the following; either a Level 2/3 Clinical Healthcare Support OR a Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care ('Health' pathway) OR Registered General Nurse Status (RGN) OR a Degree in Nursing.
  • Must have experience of completing Physiological Measurements (Blood Pressure, Body temperature etc.)
  • Confident with Maths and English - (grades C or above - or Key/Functional Skills at level 2)
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours due to some learners working late shifts and nights.
Duties:
  • Delivering full Apprenticeships in Clinical Care (Healthcare Support) to level 3, including Functional Skills (Maths / English) to level 2.
  • Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications in Clinical Care (Healthcare Support).
  • Assessors are expected to take part in learner recruitment to maintain own caseload.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Recognised Assessor Award (A1, D32/33, TAQA, CAVA)
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification (PTLLS or above)
