We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, innovative and enterprising Environmental Management business, based near to Wolverhampton. Our Client are currently seeking a Principal Ecologist with strong commercial vision and stakeholder engagement to direct the business' expansion plans and deliver on high profile projects across the UK.
As a Principle Ecologist you will be responsible for:
* Provide comprehensive ecology consultancy to internal and external stakeholders
* Advise and lead on a range of comprehensive environmental planning projects
* Supporting in identifying and securing business development opportunities
* Developing a multi-disciplinary team to increase technical capabilities
* Conducting and following up on site surveys and assessments
* Writing detailed reports and presenting technical information
The role will involve working on national projects with occasional overnight stays, therefore it is essential that you hold a full UK driving Licence and the ability to travel around the UK.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you possess have experience working at a senior level for an Environmental Management Organisation or similar industry sector.
