Learning Support Assistant
Two temporary posts
Salary - GLEA Grade 3 SCP 6 to 9
Post One:
Salary: £15,317 - £16,255 depending on experience/expertise (actual starting salary £15,317 per annum( for 39 weeks, 32.5 hours per week. This position is to work with a Year 9 male student - whilst the child is on roll at JSTC. To start as soon as possible.
Post Two:
Salary: £13,667 - £14,827 (actual starting salary £13,667) for 39 weeks, 29 hours per week on a temporary one year contract. To start in September 2019.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an enthusiastic and experienced team of learning support assistants. The posts will include in-class support and some 1:1 work. Applicants should have good English, Maths or Science skills and a good rapport with young people. Would ideally suit someone who is interested in progressing to a career in teaching as a first step or who is looking to develop as a learning support assistant. With good knowledge of working with ASD and ADHD students.
