We’re now looking for a Care Assistant to empower and support clients throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

What will I be doing? 

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide a high level of care to clients throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. 

Working in-line with care plans, you’ll support individuals with disabilities, dementia and learning disabilities within their homes. 

You’ll carry out some housekeeping tasks, assist with medication, provide personal care and take clients on errands, such as shopping trips. 

What do I need? 

- An SVQ Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care, or the willingness to achieve this 
- Great communication skills 
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude 

A driving licence is desirable, as is previous care experience, but this isn’t essential. 

Other companies may call this role Trainee Support Worker, Trainee Care Worker, Junior Social Care Worker, Social Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Community Support Worker or Junior Healthcare Worker. 

We are offering Full Time and Part Time contracts. Successful candidates will be required to work flexibly between the hours of 7:00 – 22:00, Monday – Sunday. For Part Time contracts, we can discuss your availability and needs as appropriate.
