Working closely with the site senior teams to develop and implement Continuous Improvement action plans. Identifying, justifying and leading Continuous Improvement projects using appropriate Continuous Improvement methodology (e.g. Single Minute Exchange of Dies, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance, 5 Why, 7 Wastes etc.) to deliver rapid and sustainable results.
Analysing the structure, operations, managerial methods, processes, functions and data of the Operations organization in order to propose, design and implement improvements. Driving the identification and progress of improvement activities and making recommendations for implementation.

What You'll Do:

?? To lead cultural change initiatives and projects creating a workforce that is better able to gather and analyse data leading to positively challenging the status quo through a higher quality of informed and fact-based decision making
?? To develop and analyse business performance data to inform project identification, cost and benefits
?? Identify, agree, develop, and maintain improvement projects, supporting plans and the overall improvement program for manufacturing operations
?? Produce regular reports on projects highlighting spend, budget, issues and benefit potential for each project
?? Monitor, coach, guide and develop employees participating in projects
?? Develop manufacturing operations-based improvement programs
?? Run short term, quick win improvement projects
?? Train operational teams in Continuous Improvement skills, tools and techniques

What You'll Need:

?? Ideally Degree qualified in Industrial Management or manufacturing, combined with business analysis experience in engineering, quality or continuous improvement
?? Excellent detailed working knowledge of manufacturing operations
?? Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
?? Must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding, and practical experience of implementing a range of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
?? Must be proficient with word, excel, engineering drawing software and flow-charting software
?? Good Knowledge and experience of SAP or similar ERP desired
