Payroll Administrator/Purchase Ledger. Our client, a fast growing organisation based near Coalville is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator/Purchase Ledger clerk to cover a 12 month maternity. Please note this role may well lead to a permanent position at the end of the contract.

My client is quite happy to entertain candidates who do not possess a full understanding of payroll but can enter timesheet information and has a keen eye for detail and numbers. As the role will also include 1 day of purchase ledger, knowledge of this would also be ideal. Again, my client may consider those candidates that have just had some exposure to AP.

Your role will involve the following;

Payroll

* Wages Spreadsheets
* New starters, leavers & rate renumeration
* Projects payments
* Weekend overtime rates
* Labour analysis (training given)
* Multi site payroll collation
* Checking timesheets
* Reporting to Director for timesheet review
* Make any adjustments to the reports
* Send operatives hours to individual agencies
* Track any operatives if they've not signed out
* Check any new starters/change of details
* Check new starters
* Input hours
* Print and check hours inputted
* Copy receipts & send cover letter and receipts back to recipient
* Input figures into website
* Check wages once all figures been inputted
* Cover reception for 1hr
* File all timesheets, new starters, weekly invoices
Purchase Ledger

* Print invoices off (approx. 700)
* Input invoices onto system
* Query invoices
* Check statement
* Post cash
* Filing invoices
