An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a bespoke electronic solutions company. We design and manufacture bespoke electronic solutions to meet customers’ specific requirements. We are TS16949 and ISO14001 accredited and are an approved supplier to many leading companies including Bentley, Chrysler, Jaguar Land Rover and Unipart Rail.

You will be working on a variety of controls and systems in the automotive sector. Successful applicants will work as a part of a team of ten enthusiastic Engineers and you could find yourself working on anything from £250K “specials” to high performance sports cars.

The work itself is extremely varied, covering ultrasonic security systems, deployable aerodynamics, full body control systems, various motor controls and special vehicles for movies!

About you:

You should be pro-active, with a “can do” attitude, happy to work in small teams and willing to go the extra mile. 

Embedded Software Engineer Key skill requirements:

+ A proven track record in embedded C design, with on-time delivery
+ An ability to effectively de-bug and fault find on target hardware
+ System integration to third party drivers

Desirable skills and knowledge:

+ ARM Cortex Processors
+ Generating and following design documentation (software architectures, software requirements specifications, software test specifications)
+ Automotive CAN and LIN Networks
+ Bootloaders
+ ASIL rated (ISO26262) product design
