Due to an internal promotion a vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Chemistry Technician working as part of the school’s Science Faculty.

This interesting and varied role requires a personable, well-organised, self-motivated, flexible and reliable individual with experience in practical Chemistry, who would enjoy working with teachers and pupils.

The successful candidate will be fluent in both written and spoken English and a working knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel would be an advantage.

Previous laboratory experience is desirable as is a relevant qualification such as BTEC L3, NVQ L2/3 or equivalent.

Normal hours of work will be based on working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Saturday; a flexible approach to working hours will be required.
