THE COMPANY:
For this varied role my client needs a CAD / Architectural Technician (AutoCAD, maybe some Revit) with project support and co-ordination skills and experience in construction / building services / architecture.
In this varied role you will contribute to a small team delivering a variety of construction and facilities related projects to a high standard.
THE ROLE:
- You will support the team in delivering projects to timescales and budget with minimal business disruption.
- Prepare and administer project related records, documentation and specifications including modifying CAD drawings.
- Contribute to the definition, design and delivery of internal projects including floor plans, layouts, interiors and improvements.
- Assist in managing and monitoring external contractors.
THE PERSON:
To be considered for this role you will have:
- AutoCAD capability: able to understand, manipulate and develop CAD drawings, ideally but not essentially including 3D (Revit).
- Construction / building services / architecture knowledge.
- Some experience of dealing with tendering and contract documentation.
- Able to monitor contractors with a grasp of Health and Safety, environmental and compliance issues.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office ideally including MS Project.
You will enjoy the challenge of a varied project workload and occasional travel and out of hours working could be required as part of this role
