This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business that provides the very best environmental and technical planning services.  Tyler Grange (TG) have continued to grow year on year and are now recruiting for an IT/H&S Support to join their small and friendly team currently based in a rural office in north Cirencester.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

IT Administrator

TG is a cloud based company, which means that we do not maintain traditional server equipment in house. As such, this role does not require traditional IT qualifications. The variety of problems faced will require a solution-orientated approach, delivered with excellent communication skills, to ensure the team is back up and running as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

  • First line support to all IT queries from staff in five offices across the UK
  • Ordering and setting up computers for new starters
  • Maintaining, repairing or replacing all IT equipment owned by TG
  • Assisting users with installation and training for new software, including production of user guides
  • Company-wide deployment of new hardware and software
  • Managing Cloud based software such as Office365, Adobe Cloud and SalesForce

H&S Support

TG operate across five offices around the UK; Birmingham, Cotswolds, Exeter, Manchester and London. This role encompasses a diverse range of activities and responsibilities, all of which provide continued general office support. Again, no specific qualifications are required however practical aptitude and some experience of this, professional or not, is strongly desired.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance to all statutory H&S Legislation
  • Undertaking Induction training on H&S for new starters
  • Providing First Aid Training for all staff
  • Overseeing all H&S procedures
  • Liaising with our H&S Consultant to ensure TG is well informed and acting on new legislation and requirements

This is an opportunity to join an exciting business where you will get exposure to IT Support, dealing with queries from users, and develop your IT skills, in turn assisting productivity within the business as well as having responsibility for H&S within the company. .

Training

Training will be provided where necessary to ensure that you can work within IT and H&S and at a practical level in our business.

Other

There is a requirement to assist with other members of the team when they are on holiday or away due to sickness absence.

Candidates will need to be able to travel to all five of our offices and this may include staying away from home occasionally. Expenses for these stays and all travel will be provided. Your assistance may be very occasionally required out of regular working hours due to the nature of certain projects which would otherwise disturb IT systems or working environments.

Educated to GCSE/standard grade in English & Maths

Negotiating skills to convince managers of the need to implement and maintain safety standards that may compromise speed or efficiency in the organisation
